Yoga is the relationship that is built between the body, mind and breath. Yoga is freedom and release.
Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years, and my practice has helped me find strength, ease pain and tension and has inspired me to live each moment more mindfully.
When I attended my first yoga class, I thought it would be easy, simple even, to bend myself into a pretzel. Little did I know it was a wonderfully challenging practice, both mentally and physically. I left feeling lighter, stronger and so inspired, and my love of yoga was born!
It is called a yoga “practice” because every day we must put energy toward what we hope to achieve and honor where we are that day in our bodies and in our minds. I am humbled every day in my personal yoga practice by how much grace and power it can give. I look forward to sharing the gift of Yoga with you!
